Oh, technology how you frustrate me.. I finished videoing the next episode for Boatworks Today, went to transfer everything off the camera and my editing drive on the computer didn’t have enough room! Evidently 100GB wasn’t enough (this was a 1TB drive but filled it up over the past year). Sooo had to order another drive to back everything up to so I can keep rolling with the project. Ordered a 2TB drive so hopefully this will last me a year before it’s full. The drive is supposed to show up today, hopefully I can get everything backed up before too late so I can let the new footage transfer over night (takes about 8 hours).. So, a few things to sort out this morning and hopefully I’ll have some time to work on the bed design before the drive shows up..
There’s just not enough time in the day…

First blog entry I’ve ever made.. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I am feeling a little more comfortable using Word Press. This is the 2nd site that I’ve built and the template used for From The Woodshop was much more complex than the first. It has quite a bit more possibilities but going into this blind made it that much more challenging. Live and learn I guess..
So, now with that part mostly squared away it’s time to start working on some content to post here! I’ve been itching to start the design for the G&G toddler bed; and that is next on the list. My next big hurdle is going to be learning Sketchup so I am able to play around with the design a bit without drawing / re-drawing 10 different versions. I have a pretty good idea of what I’m going to do, but at this point it’s still all in my head. Hopefully the learning curve for Sketchup goes a little faster than it did with Word Press!!
